Mayor wastes more public money
Mr Livingstone has announced plans to install solar panels in City Hall - at a cost of £560,000. Yet energy bills will only be reduced by £10,000 a year, according to one of the free London papers. This means the panels will have saved only £210,000 in the 21 years the lease on City Hall has left to run. That's a massive deficit of £350,000!
Idiotic. Outrageous. Mental. Pick a word.

This may be news to you 'lal' but not everything's about money! Were in a situation where we need more Londoners, and everyone else for that matter, to increase the use of solar power to reduce the impact of climate change.
Now if the mayor was encouraging us to do this but City Hall was still powered by carbon fuels you'd probably be the first to call that hypocritical. My guess is whatever Ken does you'd find a reason to disapprove, which rather undermines your argument.

Oh dear there's always one Guardian reading lesbian who thinks it's ok for tax payers money to be wasted on nonsense such as solar panels.
Get a life!
